MAD FARMER AWARD CEREMONY

The Mad Farmer Award is inspired by Manifesto: The Mad Farmer Liberation Front by Wendell Berry and is awarded annually to a Maine Farmer. The ceremony is designed by students, tailored to each farmer, and includes good food, original music & poetry.

Join us for a joyful summer afternoon of ecologically-themed art exhibitions, artist talks, and oyster tastings. The event will feature small group discussions with three Maine-based artists, conversation with local oyster farmers, and live music.

THE GOOD LIFE THROUGH THE LIFESPAN

Featuring the core elements of our immersive student programs (philosophical reflection, poetry, nature and mindfulness) and designed for those of us with 5+ decades of life under our belt.
