Join us for a joyful summer afternoon of ecologically-themed art exhibitions, artist talks, and oyster tastings. The event will include artists Stephanie Garon, Summer J Hart, and Scott Stoll. The artists will unveil brand new pieces on our campus—including a site specific sculpture. Oyster farmers will unveil the best of their harvest. We’ll all ponder the intersections of art, ecology and the bounty of the sea.

THE GOOD LIFE THROUGH THE LIFESPAN

Friday, August 22 1pm-5pm

Images inspired by the pillars of our programs

By popular demand, Seguinland Institute is offering an afternoon of contemplative reflection on the big questions of the good life geared toward people 50-ish and older!  Seguinland is known for its immersive programs for college-age students, but with each program that we run the parents and grandparents of the students ask us: when are you going to run a “good life program” for people who are in mid life and beyond? Join us for an afternoon that entails all the pillars of our regular programs, but designed for an older crowd: spacious reflection on the good life in “the third act”, immersion in the natural world, mindfulness practices, the creative arts and a back to the land ethic. Seguinland faculty will be joined by a panel of experts to guide you through the afternoon.

All proceeds will benefit our scholarship fund.
